DELTA: Okowa’s father dies at 89

SIR Arthur Okowa, the father of Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, has passed on.

The senior Okowa reportedly died on Thursday from coronavirus complications, aged 89.

Until his death, he was the Okpara-Uku of Owa-Alero.

The Okowas hail from Owa-Alero, Ika North East Local Government Area of the state.

Recall that the governor and his immediate family tested positive and recovered from the Covid-19 in June.
