OYO: No attempt to arrest Igboho — DSS

THE  Department of State Services, DSS has refuted claim widely reported in various news channels that it attempted to arrest Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho today, at Ibadan,

It was widely reported this afternoon that

The Public Relations Officer of the Department of State Services, DSS, Peter Afunanya, in a statement released on today said  the news is misinforming and should be taken as “fake and therefore be disregarded”

He said this following the  a joint team of policemen and the Department of State Services attempted to arrest Igboho along Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

The report buttressed the news with a supposedly viral video, where Igboho is topless, and the activists and  his henchmen are daring the security operatives to “do their worst” before they drove off.
