Rotary Club of Ikoyi’s past assistant gov, Omotosho, passes on

THE past Assistant Governor of the Rotary Club of Ikoyi, Rotarian Susan Omotosho, wife of the past District Governor Kamoru Omotosho, has passed on.

This was made known on Friday, March 12 through a statement by the Rotary Club District and signed by the president, Rotarian Obih Dike.

The statement partly read: “With heavy hearts but with total submission to the will of the Almighty, the president and members of Rotary Club of Ikoyi announce the passing away of our dearly beloved Past Assistant Governor, Rotarian Susan Omotosho which sad event took place in the early hours of today, March 12, 2021.”

The late Omotosho, stated Rotarian Obih in the statement, was a highly respected and dedicated Rotarian, and will be sorely missed by the Rotary Family at Club, District and Regional levels. He prayed the Almighty to grant her eternal rest.

According to the statement, Omotosho’s funeral arrangements will be announced soon.

My Dear Rotarians,

Transition – Past Assistant Governor Susan Omotosho Of Rotary Club Of Ikoyi, Spouse Of Pdg Kamoru Omotosho

With heavy heart but total submission to the will of God, I write to announce the transition of Past Assistant Governor Susan Omotosho of the Rotary Club of Ikoyi, spouse of PDG Kamoru Omotosho which sad event occurred on Friday, 12th March, 2021 after a brief illness.

Late Past Assistant Governor Susan Omotosho served Rotary and our District meritoriously and diligently in many capacities. She was the President of the Rotary Club of Ikoyi in the 2005-2006 Rotary year, a Past Assistant Governor and a Past Zonal Co-ordinator.

We pray Almighty God in His infinite mercy grant her family, her Club members at Rotary Club of Ikoyi and other Rotarians in District 9110 the courage, fortitude and large heart to bear this great loss.

The entire District commiserate with Past District Governor Kamoru Omotosho.

May her soul rest in peace.
