Emmanuella wins her first Nickelodeon Kids Choice award

YOUNG female comedian, Emmanuella Samuel has won the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award in the Favorite African Social Media Star Category. This would be her first win in this category after losing out in the 2018 edition to Ugandan singer, Eddy Kanzo.

She was nominated alongside Elsa Majimbo, Bonang Matheba, Ikorodu Bois, Ghetto Kids and Wigan Van Den Berg. The awards show held on Saturday, March 13.

The young star announced her win on Instagram today, March 16, 2021.

“Congratulations to me as I won the Favourite African Social Media Star category at the Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2021. I am so happy to be a winner, thank you!” she wrote.

She also thanked her fans for voting for her. “To all my fans out there, I say thank you. To all those who voted for me, I love you so much, this win would not have been possible without you.”
