Don Jazzy laments as Burna Boy, Genevieve refuse to follow him back on social media

MAVIN Records boss and producer Michael Collins, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has taken to his social media page to lament bitterly about how Nigerians are quite unsupportive of their own.

The 38-year-old music producer, via Instagram, questioned why Nigerians and Nigerian celebrities do not like following their other artists or local singers on social media but are quick to follow their foreign counterparts.

He further revealed that it seems unpatriotic and do not help our stars grow, adding that Burna Boy, Banglee, Genevieve do not follow him back on social media.

Sharing the video, he captioned it; ”Some will be like I don’t follow Nigerian celebrities with pride sef. This following of a thing no be say we Dey pay for am o. I just feel like we can support more. Buy Nigeria grow the naira. With the numbers we have we can be having some interesting conversations globally if we get all the support we can get. I’m just saying sha. I come in peace.”
