My first heartbreak was at 18 – DJ Cuppy reveals

POPULAR Nigerian Disc Jockey and singer Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, professionally known as DJ Cuppy, has revealed the age she got her first heartbreak and how she now breaks the hearts of people.

In an interview with Ken & Emily, organisers of the UK talk show, “Presenting”, DJ Cuppy talked about her first heartbreak in her life and the lessons she learnt from her heartbreak.

When asked by the host of the talk show if she has experienced heartbreak and when it happened. Dj Cuppy revealed that her first heartbreak happened when she was at age 18. She also disclosed the lessons she learned after that.

According to Cuppy who is Billionaire Femi Otedola’s first daughter, “My first heartbreak was when I was 18 years old, my first year of university and I have not been heartbroken since then. It showed me a pretty brutal lesson and what can I say, I break the hearts of people these days” she told the host.

“That lesson that taught me was never ever to depend on someone else to make me happy. You are responsible for your own happiness and happiness cannot be determined on your environment, on your popularity, or on your success, it can only come from within,” she added.
