FOR the first time in the history of Big Brother Naija, a housemate, Kayvee, has automatically been withdrawn from the show following his recent display of signs of mental illness.
Prior to Kayvee’s withdrawal from the ongoing reality show, his fellow housemates and fans had shown their worries after he suddenly started displaying signs of mental breakdown and becoming aggressive to his fellow housemates.
According to the organizers of the reality show, Kayvee whose real name is Gbolahan Ololade, had a consultation with Big Brother and the on-site medical team, where it was decided that he had to leave the house for a more thorough medical investigation.
“MultiChoice and the show producers, are committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all housemates in the Big Brother house at all times,” part of their statement reads.
The news of Kayvee’s withdrawal from the show was announced to the housemates via a statement read by present Head of House, Pere.
Big Brother, however, asked the other Housemates to help with packing Kayvee’s bags and his other personal belongings and move them into the storeroom.
Reacting to this, housemate JMK has not been able to control her tears while the rest have also shown concern and sent their love to him. “we love you, Kayvee!!” they said.
