ZAMFARA: Bandits demand N2m for two kidnapped corps members

BANDITS have allegedly placed a ransom of N2 million on two members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) kidnapped in the state.

This was according to a tweet by former Kaduna Central lawmaker, Shehu Sani, today.

The victims identified by Sani as Jenifer Lorliam and Joseph Aondana were deployed from Benue to Kebbi and Sokoto states respectively.

They were among the victims abducted along Tsafe-Gusau road in Zamfara on Tuesday, October 19.

He wrote: “Jenifer Iorliam and Joseph Aondana, youth Corpers whom are now in the hands of terrorists in Zamfara state and with a ransom of N2 million placed on their heads should be freed by none other than the NYSC that posted them there. The NYSC should be held responsible”.
