Yul Edochie wishes to be president on 40th birthday

NOLLYWOOD actor Yul Edochie turned a year older today, January 7, 2021.

As part of the celebration, Yul who is the last child of Veteran actor Pete Edochie penned down his Birthday wish.

Taking to his Instagram page, Yul prays to God to grant his desire to become Nigerian President come 2023.

He wrote, “Happy 40th birthday to me.
Happy birthday to a man of peace and love. I thank God for letting me see this day in my life. I thank God for all his blessings. All the prayer points and wishes I had many years ago God has answered all of them and even more.
And I’m grateful to Him. I have just one more prayer point, one more birthday wish as I turn 40 today. Dear God, please make me the President of Nigeria in 2023 so I can wipe away the tears of my people. Thank you Lord for answering my prayer.”

Recall that Yul Edochie had revealed how he supported the presidential campaign of former Nigerian vice president Atiku Abubakar in 2019 with his full chest as he hopes to get the same support.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, Yul Edochie said he proudly supported Atiku for the president’s office, not because of the money or paid to do it.

Yul Edochie further revealed that he resigned from his Government appointment to give Atiku his full support without any hindrance because he wanted a positive turnaround for the country.

However, Atiku lost to the All Progressive Congress party candidate, Muhammadu Buhari.

As the next presidential election is fast approaching, Yul hopes Atiku would support him as he did in 2019.

He shared his thoughts via his Instagram page, “In 2019 I supported Atiku @aatiku for President.
I did it with my full chest, proudly. I did not do it for money. I was not paid to do it. May God punish me if I lie. I even resigned from my Government appointment then so I could give Atiku my full support without any hindrance. I did it because I want a positive turn around in our country.
I ATIKULATED social media. I ATIKULATED the whole of Anambra State.
I ATIKULATED all Nigerian youths who believed in me to stand with Atiku.
Unfortunately it turned out the way it did.
This time around it’s the turn of the South East to produce the next President. And I have declared my interest to run for President of Nigeria, 2023.
I hope Atiku will support me the way I supported him. God bless our great country Nigeria,” he wrote.
