LAGOS: Native doctor bags life imprisonment for raping minor

JUSTICE Abiola Soladoye of an Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Cour, yesterday, sentenced a 35- year old native doctor, Prince Tom, to life imprisonment for kidnapping and raping a teenager inside Osmak Hotel.

While sentencing Tom, the judge described him as a toxic being whose attitude even in the dock is wicked and deathly.

The judge sentenced him to life imprisonment on both charge of kidnapping and raping an underage.

“In view of all evidence presented in court, I am convinced that the accused is guilty of these two counts,” she said.

The Judge however warned parents not to trust their children with people whom they don’t know anything about and not to trust strangers with their children.

She then sentenced the defendant to life imprisonment for both counts. The sentences are to run concurrently.

During the trial, the Teenager narrated before the court how she was kidnapped and raped inside Osmak Hotel, Mushin, by the herbalist who was to treat her ailing father
