REAL Madrid are interested in signing Victor Osimhen from Napoli this summer, according to reports in Italy.
The Super Eagles striker has also been mentioned as a target for Manchester United, who are looking to replace Cristiano Ronaldo at the end of the season.
Now, Spanish giants Real Madrid have reportedly joined the English heavyweights in plotting a move for the 23-year-old Nigeria international, who has scored 11 goals in 22 appearances for Napoli this season.
Napoli are believed to be holding out for at least €100m for Osimhen, who they bought from Lille in 2020 for around €80m, and Italian agent Alessandro Moggi believes the Serie A leaders would be able to replace their top scorer, whom Real Madrid have identified as an alternative to Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland.
“I think a lot of top European clubs are interested in signing him, he has already proved his qualities,” Moggi told Radio Marte.
“It remains to be seen if Napoli will sell Osimhen. Surely they have already proved to be able to replace big players they sold in the past.
“It’s a complicated situation, look at how it ended up with Lorenzo Insigne. There is always the risk of receiving big offers and it appears clear to me that Napoli must keep an eye on their finances.”
