‘I doubt if anyone would buy us if they put Nigeria put up for sale’ – BBNaija’s Maria Benjamin spills

FORMER Big Brother Naija ‘Shine Ya Eye’ Housemate Maria Chike Benjamin has also reacted to the current economic downturn in Nigeria.

For some weeks now, the situation of Nigeria has worsened from no electricity supply to fuel scarcity, hike in diesel and food commodities.

Many Nigerians have lamented and groaned on social media and outside social media, but things remain the same.

A Twitter user had solicited an opinion on if they could put Nigeria up for sale, and Maria reacted, stating she doubts if anyone would buy the country.

The Twitter user wrote: Can’t they put Nigerian up for sale cos omo”

Maria wrote: “I doubt anyone would buy us.”

Naijatimes had earlier reported how Maria Chike revealed what she was doing while she was 17 years old.

The reality TV star, while answering a question about one’s activities at 17, noted that she was engaged and working two jobs at that age.

The 29-year-old ex-air hostess also revealed that she was living alone and attending university at 17 years old.

In reply to “What were you doing at 17?”, Maria wrote, “Living alone, engaged, working two jobs and university.”

Maria came to limelight when she participated in the popular reality TV show, Big Brother Naija, in its sixth edition in 2021.
