FORMER Big Brother Naija housemate, Maria Chike Benjamin has applauded Will Smith for defending his wife. The actor walked up to comedian Chris Rock and slapped him after the latter made a joke about his wife’s baldness.
Maria took to her Instagram stories on Monday, March 28, 2022 to defend Smith’s actions. According to her, constant insensitivity on someone’s life can provoke them to unbox their pain.
She wrote: “A man of grace! He can never do no wrong in my eyes! Sometimes the constant insensitivity on someone’s life gets a bit much and they unbox their pain! Y’all gon be alright! First Bianca, now Will! Don’t provoke.”
While some people have come out to condemn Will Smith for his actions, others have supported him, claiming he did what he did to defend his wife.
