Rotary Club hosts cyclist, Kunle Adeyanju, to dinner in Cote d’Ivoire

LONDON-based Nigerian cyclist, Kunle Adeyanju, was yesterday hosted to a dinner in Yamoussoukro, the capital of Cote d’Ivoire.

Adeyanju, who made this known via his Twitter account, said the gesture was made by the Rotary Club of Yamoussoukro Doyen.

Accompanied by a photo of the dinner, Adeyanju, himself a Rotarian, wrote “I was hosted to a dinner by the Rotary Club of Yamoussokro Doyen. I think am being over fed on this mission”.

The Nigerian had on April 19 embarked on a 4,463 miles tour London to Lagos.

He said his mission is to generate a total sum of N20m to combat polio.

Adeyanju, who after leaving London had passed through France to Spain and then to Morocco, has been making updates of his progress on the microblogging platform Twitter.
