RENOWNED entrepreneur and academic, Damian Ohajunwa, clocked 60 years today.
Ohajunwa began his career in Nigeria when he worked as advertising executive for Complete Communications Limited, reputed for publishing sports titles such as Sports Souvenir, and subsequently Complete Football and Complete Sports.
Our birthday ‘boy’ soon carved a niche for himself in the oil and gas sector, working for Elf Oil and Total Nigeria.
A devoted Arsenal FC fan, Ohajunwa’s outstanding qualities paved way for career opportunities outside Nigeria.
In 2006, he was appointed Marketing Manager/Deputy Managing Director, Total Liberia.
Two years later, he took up a similar role in South Africa.
Although Ohajunwa is currently self employed in South Africa, he’s also a lecturer at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
Ohajunwa is happily married with children and they live in Cape Town, South Africa.
