MIXED reactions have trailed the new uniform of Lagos State Motor Park and Garages members.
Chairman of Parks and Garages Management Committee, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya (aka MC Oluomo) yesterday unveiled the new uniform at the state office in Abule Egba.
In trending photos, MC Oluomo and some of his members posed for the camera wearing the new uniform, which has the inscription LASPG, an abbreviation for Lagos State Parks and Garages. The uniform comes with a jacket.
The move is part of MC Oluomo’s vision to make members of the body professional as against public perception.
Reacting to the trending picture on social media, one @Horlernreywerju captioned the development as “Agbero with class.”

Last month, the transport union leader appealed to the Lagos State University (LASU) School of Transport and Logistics to collaborate with the Committee on the training of commercial bus drivers.
MC Oluomo has been managing parks and garages in Lagos since pulling out of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in March 2022.
Speaking at the LASU School of Transport and Logistics’ third lecture series held at the Majekodunmi Hall, LASU, MC Oluomo said the collaboration between his committee and the school would help implement Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s T.H.E.M.E.S agenda among bus drivers.
Represented by the Assistant Secretary of the Committee, Olayiwola Lemboye, the former NURTW boss emphasised the need for training and retraining of commercial bus operators.
“When our members go for training, they will learn new techniques of dealing with the public and maintenance of their vehicles. The majority of them will see the need to cooperate with the traffic officials and abide by the state’s transport regulations,” he said.
MC Oluomo was also presented an award of recognition as a major stakeholder in road public transport in Lagos State.
Meanwhile, the new uniform of the motor park managers has been stirring mixed reactions on social media.
