THE Peoples Democratic Party’s interim chairman of the Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State, SKB Ogbuagu, has passed away.
Ogbuagu passed out during a town hall meeting at the Ezeagu Local Government Area headquarters for the party’s governorship candidate.
Reports reveal that when he experienced a crises, the town hall meeting had already ended and everyone had moved to the reception location.
The acting chairman, who reportedly suffered from asthma, was immediately taken to a neighboring hospital where he passed away.
The terrible situation occurred yesterday night, but as of the time this article was filed, the party had not yet released an official statement.
In the meantime, attempts to contact Augustine Nnamani, the state party chairman, to inquire about the incident were unsuccessful since he did not return calls.
