THE All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for president, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, visited Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, yesterday, to continue his campaign there. He promised young people there would be employment opportunities.
Tinubu further guaranteed, that the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and other labor unions in the education sector will no longer undertake prolonged strikes that would affect students attending public universities and other higher educational institutions.
The APC candidate also committed to setting up industries that would employ young Nigerians.
He stated: “We will establish industries, we will have registration centres, you that have gone to the university and have gotten degrees, we will provide jobs for you.
“They didn’t send you to schools to suffer in vain, you will prosper, you will become lawyers, doctors and great people.”
