AGAINST the backdrop of post colonial trauma and apathy towards women and especially in recognition of their invaluable contributions to the society, our activities at the Art Factory for the month of March are aimed at affirming the validity and essence of role of women.
To round off the month, we shall, on the last weekend of March, (Saturday and Sunday, March 25&26) have two events to commemorate this special month.
DAY 1: Saturday, March 25: The art of Tie and Dye Workshop facilitated (Batik edition) by Shimmers. This is a Free Skill Acquisition Program for Young Female Creatives in Bariga.
TIME: 11am.
VENUE: The Art Factory, 32 Awofodu Street, off Pedro Road, Bariga.
DAY 2, Sunday, March 26: Iya Oja (Dance) and Balance for Better (Dance Drama). These two performances promise to keep you enthralled.
