Sean Dampte releases new single, announces date for London Live concert

BASKING in the euphoria of success of his debut headline Sean Dampte Live In Concert (SDLIC), which held Lagos, singer Seun Oluyole better known by the stage name Sean Dampte, has announced May 26 as date for the release of his new single titled, ‘For My Head’.

The afro-fusion artiste, who dropped his first single for 2023 with the title ‘I Dey Consider’ also announced September 17, as the date for the London leg of his command performance, Live In Concert.

The huge success recorded at his Lagos show on January 6 at the Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos inspired the London leg of the concert, which is being promoted by the Nigerian-born Babatunde Adeosun-managed ALT Entertainment UK and Savage Music Nigeria UK Limited.

With date for the London Live In Concert announced, Sean Dampte’s fans in the King Charles’ domain will hook up and hang out with him at the Jazz Cafe, London.

The Awoodah, Pepe, Hold Your Girls and other club banger crooner is currently on a media tour in Nairobi, Kenya, Harare, Zimbabwe and expected to touch down in Johannesburg, South Africa with his team that include Joseph Eferurhobo aka Joey Benks, Ralph Ojoma Ugbenyor aka Jomane, Chazy, Wetly, Tumi Oluyole, CEO of Don CRUCIFIXTO Entertainment and Eniola Alashi, spokesperson of the entertainment outfit. Joey Benks and Jomane are part of the Savage Music.

Sean Dampte’s last single, ‘I Dey Consider’ ruling the airwaves and rocking clubs in Afrobeat centric countries across the globe including the UK and Canada.

The sold out Lagos Live in Concert early in the year that featured Rayce, Magnito, Soft and 1da Banton, with a special appearance made by Don Jazzy’s father, Collins Owuneme Ajere Enebeli, endeared the skull barbing musician to his Afro-pop fans to ask for an encore in the UK.

A source close to Sean Dampte said logistics is the only thing being fine-tuned now, as the singer is set to thrill his fans to a nice party time when the concert holds later in September

“Sean Dampte doesn’t do things halfway. He wants to organise a top-notch show in London as he did in Lagos. So he is trying to put some things in place. What I can tell you authoritatively is that the London show will take place at Jazz Cafe on September 17 this year,” the source said.
