NAPOLI owner Aurelio De Laurentiis has declared that Victor Osimhen is not for sale at any price.
The Super Eagles striker has been in sensational form this season, registering 22 Serie A goals and five assists to lead Napoli to their first Scudetto in 33 years.
He also, fittingly, scored the equaliser against Udinese on Thursday night that sealed the title.
There has been speculation for months linking Osimhen with a move away from the new Serie A champions, with clubs in England, Germany and France high of the list of reported interested buyers.
The Nigeria international himself has said he would love to play in the Premier League ‘one day’ amid links with Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea, who are all in the market for an elite centre forward.
However, De Laurentiis says there is no chance of the 24-year-old striker leaving this summer.
“I will not sell Victor Osimhen this summer — no way,” De Laurentiis told Italian broadcaster Rai last night, before adding that head coach Luciano Spalletti is also not leaving.
“I’ve already activated and triggered the option to extend Luciano Spalletti’s contract for next season.”
Osimhen joined Napoli from Lille in September 2020 in an €80 million deal and his current contract expires in June 2025.
