€120m Osimhen ranked world’s third most valuable striker

VICTOR Osimhen has been listed as No.3 among the world’s most valuable strikers.

The Super Eagles star was in spectacular form last season, defying injury-induced disruptions to rack up 31 goals and five assists in 39 appearances in all competitions.

His goals were key as Napoli won their first Scudetto in 33 years and reached the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals for the first time in their history.

According to authoritative transfer and statistics outlet Transfermarkt, Osimhen is now the third most valuable striker in the world, behind only Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.

The Nigeria international’s current market value is €120m, according to Transfermarkt.

France and Paris Saint-Germain forward Mbappe, who is 24 years old like Osimhen, registered 41 goals and 10 assists in 43 appearances across all competitions last season as the club retained their Ligue 1 title.

The top scorer at the Qatar 2022 World Cup is currently valued at €180m by Transfermarkt.

Norway striker Haaland, 22, who Transfermarkt ranks No.1 with a current market value of €180m, inspired Manchester City to the unique Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League treble, contributing an incredible 52 goals and nine assists in 53 appearances in all competitions.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is ranked fourth, followed by Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez.
