Milan still chasing Chukwueze despite agreement to sign Pulisic

AC MILAN have not ended their interest in Samuel Chukwueze even after reaching an agreement with Chelsea for Christian Pulisic.

Both Super Eagles star Chukwueze and United States Men’s National Team’s Pulisic are wide forwards, and it was thought that Milan would go for only one of them.

However, the Serie A giants are planning to acquire both players and are still negotiating with Villarreal for the Nigeria international.

Although Milan are having trouble agreeing terms with Villarreal on Chukwueze’s valuation, they are not giving up, with the 24-year-old having only one year left in his current contract, according to TuttoSport.

Chukwueze has reportedly agreed to the Milan move, but Villarreal are insistent on a €35m fee, while the Italians are offering €25m.

Calciomercato added that Milan remain confident and are not in a rush, with the knowledge that there are more than 50 days left until the end of the transfer window.

They believe there is plenty of time to reach an agreement with Villarreal, who can lose Chukwueze as a free agent next year.
