NAPOLI president Aurelio De Laurentiis has insisted that the Serie A champions have no intention of selling Victor Osimhen.
However, the flamboyant businessman admitted that a staggering offer could change his mind about the Super Eagles striker.
Osimhen played a pivotal role last season, scoring 26 Serie A goals as Napoli won their first Scudetto in 33 years, and he has caught the attention of several big European clubs.
The 24-year-old Nigeria international has been linked with Manchester United, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Bayern Munich this summer, but De Laurentiis has consistently said his prized asset is not for sale.
“We will see Victor Osimhen wearing this shirt next season, that’s for sure,” De Laurentiis said today during the unveiling of Napoli’s home jersey for the 2023/2024 campaign.
“Then if a more than indecent offer arrives, we will deal with it and find another top talent as we did with Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen.”
Osimhen joined Napoli from Lille in September 2020 for €80m and signed a five-year deal.
It is believed that it would take between €120m and €150m for De Laurentiis to allow last season’s Serie A top scorer leave Napoli.
