Davido’s manager tenders apology over ‘wrongfully’ presented video

ISRAEL Afeare popularly known as Israel DMW, an aide to David Adedeji Adeleke well known as Davido has apologised to the Muslim community for any inconvenience the trailer to the controversial music video, Jaye Lo, a song by Logos Olori, a signee to DMW has caused.

Recall that following the release of the controversial trailer, Muslim youth in Maiduguri, Borno State in a video making the round online were seen gathered together, pulling down and burning a banner of Davido’s image, and asking him to tender a public apology.

Afeare, who took to his official Instagram page to publicly tender the apology, said the music video was an entertainment effort that was wrongly presented.

He added Davido was only trying to do what he knows how to do best by lifting somebody up.

Declaring his love for the Muslim community, Afeare wrote; “Let me specially apologise to my Muslim brothers and sisters, on the video my oga posted, as a result of him wanting to lift up somebody, which is one of his hubbies. It was purely an entertainment effort wrongly presented. Make una no vex. Love you all.”
