Actors Okonkwo, Atunya bag new brand ambassadorial role

NOLLYWOOD actors, Rachael Okonkwo popularly known as ‘Nkoli Nwa Nsukka’ and Chigozie Atuanya has been unveiled as brand ambassadors for Luter, a brand from one of Nigeria’s leading pharmaceutical firms, Pharmatex Nigeria Limited,.

    Speaking at the document signing ceremony and formally unveiling, which took place on Tuesday, at the company’s corporate office in Amuwo-Odofin, Lagos, Okonkwo commended the company for finding her worthy to be one of the faces of the company as ambassador.  

   She said, “I am happy to be here, and it’s an honour for me. Picking a brand ambassador that will represent Pharmatex and by extension the global brand Hovid, that has core value, moral standard and integrity is not a joke.” 

   “Like the MD/CEO rightly said, it’s not about money, not about fame; it is about what you are known for. I’m also thrilled to know that my core values and moral standard aligns with that of the brand and I’ve been picked to represent the brand. That’s also an encouragement to me. It shows that people are really watching more than we know, and I like to say thank you so much,” she added.

   On his part, Atuanya said “I somewhat believe in action, and I must say that I’m ready to take up this mantle. I will do what is right to make sure that we deliver. We’ll pass the message across to wherever they really want us to take it. Thank you very much.”

   Earlier in his remark, the MD/CEO of Pharmatex Nigeria Ltd, Joseph Ebowusim, said the new ambassadors were selected after a painstaking due diligence. He added that their choice and selection was hinged on the company’s standard and quality, which they reflect in their art and lifestyle.

   “We take pride in the quality and standard of our products, which is reflected in the quality of our corporate edifice. This collaboration with the new ambassadors has come at a time when our company as a brand is making great leaps and taking critical in-roads in the Nigerian pharmaceutical industry.

   “As a brand, we are excited to have them on board, as their influence as a rave-making actors and influencers will have a positive impact on the brand Luter and also inspire Nigerians and expose them to the quality, healthy and natural product range of Pharmatex.
