THE Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has backed President Bola Tinubu’s government, noting that the President’s economic policies are sound.
This was stated by IPAC Chairman Yabagi Sani in an interview with journalists following a meeting with Vice-President Kashim Shettima at the Presidential Villa yesterday.
Sani added that, regardless of political party affiliation, the council recognizes the present administration’s efforts in tackling the nation’s difficulties.
After exchanging pleasantries, the meeting was moved behind closed doors, and the chairman of IPAC reappeared moments later to address journalists, explaining the reason for their visit.
Senator Adams Oshiomhole, who represents Edo North, also spoke and blamed the country’s economic plight on the previous administration.
The Vice President however assured the audience that the Tinubu administration was committed to deepening democracy in the country, and that all Nigerians must work together to nurture the country’s democracy.
