As part of activities to commemorate its 33rd anniversary, the Student Union Government (SUG) of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has unveiled plans to grant scholarships to 33 meritorious.
President of the union, Tijani Habeebullahi, disclosed this during a press conference in the institution. He stated that the scholarships will be awarded based on academic performance.
“The scholarship will be centered on 33 students who will be carefully selected based on their academic performance, and there would also be grants and support schemes for 33 student business owners who are registered with CAC.”
Commending the University’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kehinde Olusola, for his role in guiding the institution to success, Habeebullahi highlighted the accomplishments of the recently concluded convocation ceremony and project commissioning.
According to him, the scholarships and grant awards ceremony is scheduled to hold next and will encompass a wide range of initiatives, programs, and actions.
The student leader also called upon State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun to address the condition of Camp-Alabata Road, underscoring its significance to students and the local community.
