ALL the Super Eagles players invited for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clash against Sao Tome have arrived in Uyo.
The team’s media department confirmed that all 23 players have reported in their camp in the Akwa Ibom State capital for the match billed for Sunday.
Nigeria will host the minnows from Sao Tome and Principe at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in the final match of the qualifying series.
Jose Peseiro’s side top qualifying Group A with 12 points from five matches and have already booked their spot in the tournament scheduled for Cote d’Ivoire in January and February next week.
The Super Eagles need a point from the match against the bottom side for them to guarantee first place at the end of the series ahead of Guinea-Bissau who are two points behind and face Sierra Leone on Sunday.
New invitees Gift Orban, Victor Boniface and Jordan Torunarigha were among the first set of players to arrive in camp, with the others completing the squad today.
Goalkeepers Francis Uzoho and Adebayo Adeleye, defenders Tyrone Ebuehi, Jordan Torunarigha and Bruno Onyemachi as well as midfielder Raphael Onyedika were also early arrivals.
Regular stars like Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze, Kelechi Iheanacho, Joe Aribo, Wilfred Ndidi, Calvin Bassey and captain William Troost-Ekong joined up later in the day.
