SUPER Eagles star Victor Boniface is the best striker across the top leagues of Europe when it comes to dribbling, latest stats have shown.
The Nigeria international has been in terrific scoring form for Bayer Leverkusen but he has also been adept at taking on opponents and getting past them.
According to football statistics and performance outlet Whoscored, Boniface is completing more dribbles per game (3.4) than any other striker in Europe’s top five leagues this season.
The 22-year-old has been sensational since joining Bayer Leverkusen from Union St Gilloise in a €20.5 million deal in July.
He has registered eight goals and three assists in seven appearances in all competitions this season, making him one of the most potent hitmen in Europe at the moment.
Boniface has bagged an incredible three braces in his opening five Bundesliga games and no player has managed to match his 38 shots so far — an all-time record for this stage of a season.
In the the race for Bundesliga top scorer, Boniface is only behind Guinea striker Serhou Guirassy who has 10 goals with Stuttgart and England captain Harry Kane who has netted seven times at champions Bayern Munich.
Boniface made his Super Eagles debut as a substitute and recorded an assist in the 6-0 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying victory over Sao Tome and Principe on September 10 in Uyo.
