The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, and his fourth wife, Olori Ashley Afolashade, have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy. The royal couple shared the news on social media, expressing gratitude to God for the blessing.
The Ooni posted a heartwarming image of himself and the new mother, writing, “To God be the glory, great things he has done.”
Olori Afolashade described the birth as a “Double Crown Prince” and thanked God for their family’s journey. She recalled a previous loss of twins, saying, “Last year was a little dark… but Olodumare remained faithful. He said what you need is a son to carry your forebear’s lineage, a double Crown Prince, now he has blessed us with our gorgeous son.”
The baby boy is not only a prince of the source but also a Crown Prince from both sides of his parents, making him a significant addition to the royal lineage. The royal couple’s joyous celebration marks a new chapter in their lives and the continuation of their forebears’ legacy.
