Junior Quality Assurance Officer

Job Description:
The Dangote Group is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Quality Assurance Officer to assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance protocols within our operations. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in quality assurance, particularly in the manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation and Analyzing of Raw materials, Intermediate and finished Samples
Interpreting result and taking necessary actions
Analysis and Reporting of Water Samples for both Plant and Power Plant Operation
Preparation of Daily Production Reports with respect to Power report, mines report, packing report and CCR reports
Monitoring and Controlling of Pile Chemistry to the desire target.
Assist in the Maintenance of ISO systems in the department
Working with the QCX. Blend expert Software to Optimize Quality Performance and minimize error
Inter-departmental coordination to ensure effective running of the laboratory.
Carrying out any other job as may be assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or HND in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
1 to 2 years of experience in quality assurance or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Basic understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Good communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
Knowledge of ISO standards or Six Sigma methodologies is an advantage but not required.
