PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu has approved the conversion of the Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy in Enugu into a full-fledged University of Allied Health Sciences.

According to a statement issued by the President’s media aide, Ajuri Ngelale, the conversion is part of Tinubu’s ongoing efforts to strengthen human resources in the health and social welfare sectors.

With this clearance, the Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy in Enugu will be renamed the Federal University of Allied Health Sciences, Enugu, and will be domiciled under the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.
