THE Federal Government has launched a solid minerals resource support system for investors and potential investors in Nigeria and throughout the world.

During the launch event, the Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake expressed his delight with the action, noting that the support system will make it easier to do business in the solid minerals sector.

He added that the portal was designed to provide investors and prospective investors with all of the information they needed to make informed investment decisions.

Alake also stated that his administration is now developing a financial capacity programme for local investors that do not have the resources to fully commit to mineral exploration in Nigeria.

He recommended investors to contact the ministry through the Solid Minerals Development Fund.

Alake discussed the state of the nation, noting that President Tinubu’s first year in office will be a testament to his ambitious aspirations for Nigeria.

The minister, taking into account the country’s economic difficulty, urged Nigerians to endure with the reforms and policies, stating that they are for the larger good.

Meanwhile, the minister of interior, Tunji Ojo, who was also present at the ceremony with other top management personnel from the ministry, as well as foreign and local investors, lauded the ministry for the improvements seen so far.

He also guaranteed his ministry’s support in achieving total security for Nigeria’s mining sites.
