NIGERIA’s Toki Mobogunje has been appointed as the Vice Chair Africa at International Chamber of Commerce World Chamber Federations.
Mobogunje’s appointment was confirmed in August.
A former president of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), she is the only executive committee member from Africa.
Colombian Nicolás Uribe Rueda will serve as President with Marie-Christine Oghly as deputy.
They will serve for three years.
Initially known as the International Information Bureau of Chambers of Commerce, WCF is reputed as the backbone of the chamber community providing a platform for chamber leaders to communicate and collaborate with each other on matters of mutual interest and facilitating beneficial partnerships.
Mobogunje is a member of Naija Times’ Editorial Board.
