PETER Obi of the Labour Party has won the presidential election conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Delta, Imo and Ebonyi State last Saturday.
According to the the result announced by INEC today in Delta, Obi scored 341,866 to floor closest challengers.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) whose vice presidential candidate is the incumbent governor of Delta State Ifeanyi Okowa came second and the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerged third.
While the PDP scored 161,600 votes to come second, APC scored 90,183 to occupy third place in the state. The candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) came distant fourth with 3,122 votes.
In Imo, Obi polled 352,904 votes to defeat Tinubu and Atiku.
Tinubu polled 66,171 to emerge second while Atiku scored 30,004 to come second. Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) came fourth with 1,536 votes.
Obi polled 259,738 in Ebonyi to defeat Tinubu and Atiku.
Tinubu polled 42,402 votes to trail in second place, while Atiku polled 13,503 to come third in Ebonyi. The candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso came distant fourth with 1,661 votes.
