THE Jama’atu Nasril Islam has urged Nigerians to pray for Allah’s guidance and protection for the incoming Federal Government, both at home and while performing Umrah (the lesser Hajj).
The organization made the decision in a statement released yesterday by Dr. Khalid Aliyu, its Secretary General.
The statement issued in Kaduna, said, “It has become more evident that we cannot get it right without prayers.”
The JNI, under the leadership of the Sultan of Sokoto and President General of JNI, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, said, “We must strive harder to supplicate for our respective well-being and the stability, security, development, and economic prosperity of Nigeria.
“Muslims are encouraged to stay vigil in worship through the last 10 nights, as reported in the practice of the messenger Allah. All should wake up and engage in acts of worship to attain Allah’s mercies and blessings.
“It is therefore the wish of JNI that every Muslim will strive to benefit from these blessings we are afforded, as none of us is sure of witnessing yet another opportunity.”
