Nine LASU Law graduates make first at Law School

NINE graduates of the Faculty of Law, Lagos State University (LASU) have made first class honour in the just released Bar final examination results.
The outstanding students are Akinmusire Sina Victor, Owolabi Yusuf Olatunji, Badmus Sulaimon Ayodele, Oyede Mariam Adejumoke, Afolabi Aderonke Salmat, Lawal Adebisi Bilqees, Haastrup Adetumbi Wuraola, Fagbolade Ewaoluwa Blessing, and Ogungbo Azeezat Toluwalase.
The number, which is the highest attained so far in a single academic year in the history of the Faculty of Law of the university, has expectedly elicited excitement from the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello.
While celebrating the feat, the Vice Chancellor congratulated the Dean, Prof. Olatoye and the entire faculty on the achievement. She said, “This result is evidence of the dedication and diligence of all staff. I am so proud of you all. Congratulations!”
Prof. Olatunji-Bello stated that the achievement has, once again, strengthened the position of LASU Law programme as the flagship academic programme in the university and the Faculty of choice for prospective law students in Nigeria.
She added that the Faculty, also produced the Best Graduating Student with the highest CGPA (5.0) in the history of the university at the 26th Convocation Ceremonies held in June last year.
