In a groundbreaking move, the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) has collaborated with global tech giant Infosys to digitalize and automate regulatory processes in Nigeria’s upstream petroleum industry.

A delegation led by NUPRC Chief Executive Engr Gbenga Komolafe visited Infosys’ headquarters in Bengaluru, India, to explore cutting-edge technological solutions to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability.

The partnership aims to streamline hydrocarbon accounting, plug revenue leakages, and boost government revenues. Infosys Chairman Mr. Nandan Nilekani expressed alignment with NUPRC’s vision, offering expertise in automation and data-driven solutions to support the Commission’s goals.
