THE Super Eagles B of Nigeria will battle Congo, Sudan and defending champions Senegal in Group D of the 2024 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN).
The draw for the tournament was held in Nairobi, Kenya tonight, with 21 teams (two wild cards yet to be determined) placed in four groups — three groups have five teams each, while Nigeria’s group has four.
Group A consists of Morocco, Angola, DR Congo, Zambia and co-hosts Kenya.
Madagascar, Mauritania, Burkina, Central Africa Republic and co-hosts Tanzania are in Group B.
Uganda, the third co-hosts, are in Group C with Niger Republic and Guinea, along with two wild cards.
The 2024 CHAN was initially scheduled for February but will now be held in August this year in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
The last time the Super Eagles B featured in CHAN tournament was in 2018 in Morocco when they reached the final and lost 4-0 to the hosts.
