THE Falconets of Nigeria have been drawn in one of the toughest groups for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland.
The draw was held in Lodz, Poland today, with 24 teams split into six groups of four each.
Two-time finalists Falconets will be up against heavyweights Spain and China in Group F, with minnows New Caledonia completing the pool.
Hosts Poland are in Group A with Mexico, Argentina and African representatives Benin Republic.
Africa’s third representatives Ghana are also in a tough-looking Group C along with France, South Korea and Ecuador.
The tournament is scheduled for Poland from September 5 to September 27.
