PRESS RELEASE

This partnership with Fondazione Donà dalle Rose strengthens our vision of positioning Africa at the center of global cultural conversations while creating sustainable opportunities for artists, cultural institutions, and future generations across both continents…Our collaboration with Venice displays our effort to foster a better and new relationship of togetherness and mutual respect for a better world. Africa time is now! We extend our hands for a better world and a greater future.”

FESTAC AFRICA and Fondazione Donà dalle Rose are pleased to announce a new international cultural partnership aimed at strengthening artistic exchange, sports, cultural diplomacy, heritage preservation, and creative collaboration between Africa and Europe.

The partnership brings together two organizations committed to promoting culture as a catalyst for dialogue, innovation, and sustainable development. Through joint initiatives, exhibitions, performances, educational programs, and international cultural events, the collaboration seeks to create new opportunities for artists, cultural practitioners, and creative entrepreneurs across both continents.

While announcing  the partnership,  Eng. Yinka Abioye (Chairman of FESTAC AFRICA FESTIVAL) said; “FESTAC AFRICA is more than a festival—it is a renaissance and Pan-African movement of cultural reclamation, honoring ancestral wisdom, economic empowerment, and African pride.”

“Africa’s true power lies not in her minerals, but in her people. Culture is the language that unites us beyond boarders.  It is how we remember, how we resist, and how we rise. Culture is our compass and our currency. We no longer need to seek validation from the west. We now look inward – to our ancestors, our elders, and our youth for the blueprint of our renaissance”
