CAMILLA, Duchess of Cornwall, according to their London office, tested positive to coronavirus a few days after Prince Charles.
After revealing on Thursday that Charles had testedpositive and was self-isolating, a Clarence House spokeswoman said Camilla, 74, was self-isolating.
Concerns were raised as to whether the heir to the British throne could have transmitted the illness on to his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, whom he had met just two days before.
In March 2020, Charles tested positive for the virus and spent a week self-isolating at the Queen’s Scottish estate, Balmoral.
Both Charles and Camilla have had booster shots and have encouraged others to do so as well.
Camilla’s most recent public appearances were on Thursday of last week. She went on a tour to a sexual assault clinic, helped to open a communal kitchen, and visited a nonprofit that helps crime victims.
The queen is celebrating her 70th year on the throne. She said earlier this month that she hoped Camilla would be referred to as Queen Consort when Charles became king, putting an end to a long argument about her future title.
