THE general overseer of Omega Power Ministry (OPM), Chibuzor Chinyere, and the comedy squad Happie Boys are at odds over an alleged canceled Cyprus scholarship.

Happie Boys are a two-man team of private security guards that rose to prominence for their content creation.

However, the boys were sacked from their jobs at a restaurant in Aba, Abia state, for dancing while on duty.

Following their expulsion, Chinyere offered the Happie Boys scholarships to study in Cyprus.

However, the comedians recently revealed on social media that they have dropped out of school.

The guys said that the scholarship was canceled after discussing it with the pastor.

Chinyere in an expletive-laden exchange stated he sponsored the Happie Boys with church donations and tithes.

However, the Happie Boys stated in a second social media post yesterday that they had sought out to the pastor for assistance, but he continued urging them to wait for some time.

They stated that they also discovered that, with the exception of those from wealthy families, all other recipients of the pastor’s scholarship scheme had dropped out.

They said that they were compelled to work menial jobs in order to survive.
