Tinubu meets labour leaders, commits to resolve issues

IN the midst of statewide protests, Joe Ajaero, President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), and Festus Osifo, President of the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC), met with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa today.

The labor leaders, who left the Villa approximately 30 minutes after they arrived at 5:38 p.m., said the President made commits to solve some pressing issues.

They stated that they would report to their executive committees, where a decision on the ongoing protest will be made, and that Labour would hold its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting tomorrow where all problems would be discussed.
