Renowned Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has been honoured with the Most Outstanding Actor of the Year Award by the Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN).
The award was presented to the actor during an on-set visit by members of the prestigious guild, who recognised his outstanding contributions to the Nigerian film industry and his consistency in delivering compelling performances.
Taking to his Instagram page, Edochie shared a video capturing the moment the award was presented, describing it as an honour and a source of encouragement. He expressed profound gratitude to the Directors Guild of Nigeria for the recognition and offered goodwill messages to the association.
“Yesterday, members of the prestigious Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN) visited me on set and presented me with an award of honour and recognition as the Most Outstanding Actor of the Year 2025,” he wrote. “Thank you, DGN. Truly appreciated. Greater heights and uncountable successes, I wish DGN. God bless you all.”
The actor also hinted at renewed drive and ambition for the year ahead, adding, “2026, we go harder!”
