SPORTSWEAR maker Nike has released a new set of jerseys for the Super Eagles and other Nigerian football national teams.

Despite failing to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Super Eagles will don the fresh threads in friendly matches in the run-up to the global showpiece.

The new jerseys, both home and away, were unveiled today by Nike.

The American sportswear giant says the new home jersey “commands attention with its vibrant light green foundation, artfully layered with deeper green panels and a subtle dotted fade that adds a modern edge.”

Nike adds: “True to Nigeria’s rich footballing heritage, the kit is proudly finished with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) crest alongside Nike’s iconic swoosh—a combination that continues to celebrate the nation’s bold and unmistakable identity on the pitch.”

According to Nike, the design continues the Super Eagles’ tradition of “street-ready” aesthetics that resonate beyond football.

The away kit has a predominantly white base with bold green flame-like graphics rising across the front, back, and sleeves, highlighted by a dark green V-neck collar and black-trimmed cuffs.

“Both jerseys are engineered with Nike’s Dri-FIT technology and incorporate sustainable materials, reflecting a blend of performance and environmental consciousness,” Nike notes.

The kit also has a women’s version for the Super Falcons and other women’s national teams.

The Super Falcons are expected to wear the new kits at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in July.

According to the prices on the African section of the Nike website, the men’s and women’s shirts are sold for about 1,700 South African rand, which is about N140,000.
