Nigerian female DJ, Deejay Kulet shared her personal testimony during a church service, talking about her past struggles, her lifestyle change, and how she eventually became a homeowner.
She revealed that she once lived a very tough life and was involved in prostitution at some point.
According to the DJ, her living conditions were poor, and she struggled with housing for years. She said she once stayed in a one-room apartment rented for her, and later moved into a room and a parlor as her situation slightly improved, although it still came with challenges, such as lacking proper toilet facilities for about 2 years.
In her words: “There was a time I was in a one-room apartment that a man rented for me, yes! Then my prostitution work elevated, I got into a room and parlor, but I had difficulty there cause it didn’t have a toilet for 2 years.”
Kulet also shared how she once withdrew millions from her bank account, saying she had made a vow to give her first million to the church. She mentioned that the decision later made her reflect deeply, and she almost regretted it.
“So one time I went to the bank to clear my millions in my account because I made a vow that my first millions would be given to the church. I paid it into church, and the devil almost made me regret,” she added.
She further explained that her life later changed as she began focusing fully on her career as a DJ, which helped her improve financially and move into a four-bedroom apartment.
Eventually, she said her breakthrough came when she bought a fully paid house in Surulere, Lagos, insisting she did not return to her past lifestyle to achieve it.
“Not until this time last year, the Lord bought me a house here in Surulere. I didn’t sleep around to pay, and I paid in full. I want to thank God because my story was not good at all. I didn’t even see it coming,” she concluded.
