A farmer identified as Abdulkarim has been left critically injured after armed bandits attacked him on his farm in Kubau Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Details of the incident were shared today by security analyst Bakatsine in a post on X.

According to him, the attack occurred on Friday evening while the victim was tending to his dry-season farm.

The assailants reportedly confronted Abdulkarim during the attack, and the situation escalated after he challenged them.

He sustained severe injuries in the process and was left in critical condition.

The incident has renewed concerns over the safety of farmers in rural communities, particularly in parts of Kaduna where banditry has persisted.

Observers say insecurity continues to disrupt agricultural activities and threaten livelihoods in affected areas.

As of the time of filing this report, security authorities had yet to issue an official statement regarding the attack.
