THE All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has announced that its 2026 State Congress will take place on Tuesday, March 3.
In a notice issued today, the Chairman of the Lagos State Congress Committee confirmed that the exercise will be held at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, formerly known as Onikan Stadium, by 10 a.m.
According to the statement, the congress is being convened in line with Article 12.8 of the party’s constitution.
The party outlined categories of members eligible to attend, including members of the State Advisory Council, the State Chairman and members of the State Executive Committee, as well as the State Governor and Deputy Governor who belong to the party.
Also expected at the congress are serving and former members of the National Assembly from Lagos State who are party members, members of the National Executive Committee from the state, and current and former members of the State House of Assembly affiliated with the party.
The list further includes elected Local Government Chairmen and their deputies, councillors from the 245 wards across the state who are members of the party, chairmen and secretaries of the party in all Local Government Areas, five delegates per ward elected during the Ward Congress, and members of the Zonal Executive Committee from the state.
The notice emphasised that all delegates must present valid party membership cards alongside official accreditation tags to gain entry into the venue.
